Pet food Premixes for your unique needs
One of the things that set pet food products apart, influences animal performance and addresses the specific nutritional needs of those animals is the premix used to create a finished feed product. All pet food premixes are not created equal. The right formula will have a specific blend of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and nutritional additives that directly addresses the needs of the animal it is fed to.
Premixes make up a small percentage of the formulation but have the potential to make a big difference in the efficacy of a feed. Micro premixes are mixed into the feed between 0.2 and 2% of the total mix, while macro premixes make up between 2% to 8% of the mix (including also macro-elements, salts, buffer and amino acids).
